The U.S. Mission to Nigeria comprises of the Embassy in Abuja, FCT, and the Consulate General in Lagos. U.S. Consulate General Lagos is the Mission’s representative to the Nigerian people in the southern region.

Job Title: Travel Clerk

Job Summary

• The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos, Nigeria is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the Travel Clerk position in the General Service Office. 

Duties

• Under the supervision of the Travel Supervisor, Incumbent assist with visa arrangements as necessary for mission personnel. Performs general expediter arrangement for expediter team, which includes updating Lagos Travel Manifest. Prepares visa applications for Mission personnel, collect passport and visa fee. Prepares correspondence to Foreign Mission. 

Requirements

• Two (2) years of University Studies is required.  
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in office management or secretary, or travel agent is required. Travel agency administrative experience is an added advantage. 

Salary
USD $14,235 per Year.
