Job Title: Team Member, Group Product and Underwriting

Job Overview
- The purpose of the role is to sustain a market leading position in the health insurance market segment within Nigeria through effective and efficient oversight of Underwriting, product and pricing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with underwriting, risk profiling and profitability assessment of Group products for both new and renewal businesses, including local and international products.
- Ensure implementation of approved pricing and renewal decisions for the Underwriting Period.
- Support Portfolio performance monitoring and implementation of corrective actions with the support of the sales team.
- Liaise with Risk, Actuarial & Legal in case considerations as applicable.
- Any other responsibilities that might be required by the Team lead and Head, Health Underwriting, product and pricing from time to time.
Role Qualfication
- B.Sc from a reputable tertiary institution.
Work Experience:
- 1 – 3 Years total work experience.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Technical knowledge of health underwriting or health operations
- Good interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong Leadership traits.
