We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Store Manger
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve store targets.
- Analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement promotions, discounts, and marketing campaigns to drive sales.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
Store Operations & Compliance:
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational SOPs.
- Oversee cash handling, POS operations, and daily sales reconciliation.
- Conduct regular store audits and resolve operational issues.
Reporting & Business Analysis:
- Generate sales, inventory, and customer reports for management.
- Analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) to identify trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve store performance.
- Implement business intelligence tools for data-driven decision-making
Customer Experience & Service Excellence:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Train staff in customer service best practices.
- Maintain a welcoming and engaging store environment.
Team Leadership & Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales associates.
- Schedule shifts and manage staff productivity.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Foster a team-oriented culture with clear communication.
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Monitor and reduce stock shrinkage (theft, damage, mismanagement).
- Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse teams for deliveries.
- Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock turnover.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or HND Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in retail management.
- Proficiency in retail management software (POS, inventory, CRM).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service abilities.
