We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Spare Parts Inventory Assistant Supervisor to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient management of spare parts inventory, optimizing stock levels, and supporting the company’s operational needs.
Job Summary:
The Spare Parts Inventory Assistant Supervisor will oversee daily inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, efficient replenishment, and compliance with company policies. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to manage a team to meet business demands effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Supervise daily spare parts inventory operations, including stock monitoring, ordering, and replenishment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and lead a team of inventory associates, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment to achieve team goals.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze inventory trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Track product receipt and dispatch trends to support demand forecasting.
- Perform regular stock audits and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordination & Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Procurement, Maintenance, Sales) to anticipate spare parts requirements.
- Oversee the timely receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming spare parts to ensure quality and quantity accuracy.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all inventory activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the motorcycle manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of store and inventory management principles.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in inventory tracking.
