We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager – West to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and enhancing stakeholder engagement in the assigned region.
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager – West will be responsible for translating sales strategies into actionable plans, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the successful implementation of sales initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive business growth while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Implementation:
- Develop and implement relationship management plans for complex customer and partner accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations.
- Drive the adoption of sales operational policies and monitor strategy implementation against timelines and budgets.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Manage ongoing relationships with customer segments to ensure their needs are met.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Enhance service delivery by maintaining effective communication channels with customers.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Oversee key aspects of the data management system, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Develop and execute complex reports, identifying trends and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Contribute to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates.
- Market Intelligence & Business Development:
- Obtain market intelligence to enhance Interswitch’s visibility and reputation.
- Represent Interswitch at business sector events and build a strong personal network.
- Develop internal marketing plans and collaborate with other departments to improve relationships and customer engagement.
- Sales Operations & Negotiation:
- Configure product and service solutions that meet customer needs and negotiate contractual terms.
- Oversee sales network integration and manage communication with business partners and service providers.
- Attend stakeholder meetings to acquire and share sales and risk management processes.
- Team Leadership & Target Achievement:
- Set and manage individual and regional sales targets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide input into the sales plan and contribute to the formation of functional strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: University postgraduate degree in Sales and Marketing, Business, Economics, or a Finance-related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Sales and Business Development roles within reputable financial institutions or the payments industry.
- At least 3 years of customer-facing experience in the FinTech space.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
