We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Assistant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Details

• Assist in sourcing and procuring materials, goods, and services according to company requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, and track deliveries. Maintain uptodate records of vendor contracts and performance.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) to suppliers, ensuring accuracy in pricing, terms, and delivery dates.
• Assist in preparing regular procurement reports, tracking spending, and ensuring budget compliance.
• Suggest ways to improve procurement efficiency and contribute to the optimization of the supply chain.
• Work closely with internal departments such as logistics, finance, and production to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.
• Assist with inventory tracking and stock management to ensure adequate supplies and minimize shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, including invoices, receipts, and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in procurement or supply chain support is preferred but not required.
• SSCE Certificate or equivalent; a Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and problemsolving ability.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
• Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
