Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PR and communications strategies for multiple brands within the portfolio, tailored to their specific audiences and goals.
  • Create a unified messaging framework while maintaining each brand’s unique identity and voice.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for media coverage, thought leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Craft engaging blogs, press releases, newsletters, and award entries to highlight achievements and build brand visibility.
  • Develop and refine key messages and narratives for each brand to ensure consistent and impactful communication.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights and turn them into compelling stories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
  • Proactively secure media coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Respond to media inquiries and manage press interactions with professionalism and timeliness.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on communications during challenging situations, ensuring clear and effective messaging.
  • Partner with marketing teams (where applicable) to align PR efforts with larger marketing campaigns when they occur.
  • Contribute to social media strategies by providing tailored content and communication support.
  • Bonus: Use broader marketing skills to support content strategy, campaign planning, or analytics as needed.
  • Track and measure the impact of PR and communications campaigns, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare reports for stakeholders detailing media coverage, campaign performance, and key milestones.
  • Advise on tools needed for deliverables.

Requirements

  • A progressive experience in Marketing, PR and Comms – the more diverse your experience, the better.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • A proven track record in PR and communications, including managing strategies across multiple sectors. Applicants must provide a portfolio showcasing their work and results.
  • Ability to design and execute integrated communication plans tailored to diverse industries and audiences.
  • Strong storytelling, editing, and content creation skills, adaptable to various sectors and tones, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Experience building media relationships and securing impactful media coverage.
  • A creative thinker with the ability to adapt messaging for different industries and audiences.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to balance competing priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with tools like WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating with remote teams.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments with a variety of work, excel at solving challenges, and are always looking for ways to make an impact.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all messaging is polished and aligned with brand values.
  • You’ve built relationships with media professionals and know how to secure impactful media coverage.
