An established company in the upstream oil and gas industry, based in Nigeria, is seeking a Personal Assistant to support their Executive Director/CFO. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations and providing strategic administrative support at the executive level.

This exciting opportunity requires a proactive and resourceful individual who can manage high-level administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality. Success in this role will be demonstrated through effective time management, problem-solving, and the ability to enhance the Executive Director’s efficiency and impact within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Prepare professional presentations, memos, and correspondence.
  • Conduct research and compile information for executive use.
  • Ensure the highest levels of confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
  • Deliver on additional administrative duties as required.
  • Comprehensive diary management and prioritisation of the Executive Director’s schedule.
  • Providing strategic support across various business functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Handling and organising documentation, presentations, and reports to a professional standard.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for the Executive Director, ensuring they are well-informed and prepared for upcoming commitments.
  • Supporting the collation and analysis of reports from Finance units

Key Experiences and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred (ie: Business Administration)
  • Minimum of three years providing support to upper-level management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work well under pressure and strong organizational skills
  • Assertive and disciplined with the ability to work independently.
