The bank, currently owned by Sigma Golf River Bank Consortium, was acquired from the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) in 2017. Since receiving its banking license from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on August 5, 2011, Keystone Bank has maintained strong financial stability, meeting and exceeding the capital adequacy requirements set by the CBN. The bank took over the deposit liabilities and selected assets and liabilities of the defunct Bank PHB Plc after its operating license was revoked.
