Job Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated HR Personnel (Assistant)to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in executing various HR functions, maintain effective communication with management, and support the recruitment, training and welfare of employees.
- The role also includes ensuring compliance with company policies, fostering positive employee relations and promoting workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of qualified staff to meet organizational needs.
- Organize and cordinate staff training and development programs to enhance employee performance.
- Facilitate external employee relations by addressing grievances and resolving conflicts amicably to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure employee safety by monitoring workplace conditions, provide support to injured employees, including accompanying them for medical treatment when necessary and ensuring employees’ safety is prioritised.
- Manage and maintain HR records and documentation accurately.
- Provide general support to the HR department in daily operations.
- Maintain regular communication with various management teams to address HR related concerns and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and fairness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR professional.
- Patience, humility and a positive attitude with zeal to work in a diverse work environment and adapt to dynamic situations.
- Strong organizational, time management skills and keen level of tolerance
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Nigeria Labour law and human resource processes and procedures
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, excel and power point and other computer software.
- Should have prior experience managing a workforce of over 30 employees.
- Proven experience in training or cordination and organizing of staff training programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary
N150,000 monthly.
