HR Coordinator, Talent Acquisition

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Coordinator, Talent Acquisition

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Reports to: HR Manager

Responsibilities

  • Assists the HR Manager in developing effective sourcing and recruitment strategies to meet the needs.
  • Handles the full life cycle of the recruitment process (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer letter, employment contract or consultancy agreement, onboarding, end of probation)
  • Ensures an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle through meeting the SLAs and the targets.
  • Follows up and tracks the recruitment reports and ensures they are constantly filled and updated and data available for the dashboards.
  • Ensures prompt and professional communication with all candidates and the employees who are part of the interview panel throughout the process.
  • Manages ad-hoc issues such as scheduling conflicts, delays and interviewer no shows.
  • Manages hiring team’s calendar, organizes meetings, prepares meeting materials and orders supplies for the team.
  • Develops and reviews job descriptions.
  • Supports in the development of the online recruitment portal in collaboration with the software developers.
  • Handles the relationship with external recruitment agencies, websites, and platforms.
  • Support in the employee termination process when requested.
  • Cooperates in developing internal training on talent acquisition strategies and on new procedures to be delivered to People Operations’ teams.
  • Welcomes and escorts candidates for onsite interviews, when applicable.
  • Tracks recruiting activities and provides candidate status in a Weekly/Monthly report.
  • Maintains all employees’ paperwork, ensures that all documents have been gathered and that all compliance issues are met with regards to the recruitment process.
  • Ensures employee files are updated all the time.
  • Prepares the immersion plan and schedules the orientation sessions for new joiners with all department heads.
  • Ensures availability of back up CVs for critical positions in the candidates’ database.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 – 6 years of experience in technical recruitment or similar field.
  • Experience with professional platforms and social channels, especially LinkedIn
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to multifunction under pressure.
  • Critical-thinking skills.
  • Able to be flexible, proactive, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities.
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent follow-through skills.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Familiarity with the entire recruitment lifecycle.
  • Tech-savvy.
  • Ability to juggle multiple calendars.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 monthly.
