Job Summary:
Diadem Consults Initiative Limited / GTE is seeking dedicated and skilled Enumerators to join our team in Abuja for a contract position. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting field data from beneficiaries of humanitarian interventions, supporting qualitative and quantitative survey data management, and contributing to the documentation of lessons learned and best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in field research, data collection, and analysis, with a strong commitment to accuracy and ethical data handling.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect field data from beneficiaries of humanitarian interventions.
  • Support qualitative and quantitative survey data management.
  • Complete daily assigned tasks and submit collated notes to the supervisor.
  • Contribute to the documentation of lessons learned, best practices, and proven innovations in program design.
  • Conduct assessments, data collection, and document/data reviews.
  • Transcribe survey recordings and prepare narrative reports.
  • Utilize tools such as ODK and Microsoft Office suites for data collection and analysis.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Social Sciences or a related field (e.g., International Development, Public Health, Evaluation, Statistics, Economics).
  • At least two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in designing, managing, and implementing results-based RME (Results Monitoring and Evaluation) activities.
  • Hands-on experience in both qualitative and quantitative data collection.
  • Experience in analyzing data for quality assurance.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in telephone communication ethics.
  • Ability to listen, adapt, and persuade effectively.
  • Experience in field research and assessments for donor-funded projects is an asset.
  • Practical expertise in data collection for research and assessments.
  • Proficiency in ODK and Microsoft Office suites.

Language Requirements:

  • English: Written and verbal proficiency.
  • Verbal skills in at least two (2) Nigerian languages, which may include Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Efik, Kanuri, Pidgin, or Uroboh.
