We are seeking a creative and results-driven Digital Marketer to join our team in Isiokpo, Rivers State. This role is pivotal in promoting our university’s programs and initiatives, enhancing our online presence, and engaging with our global audience.


Job Summary:
The Digital Marketer will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to promote Wigwe University’s programs and initiatives. This role requires expertise in social media management, SEO, online advertising, and content creation to drive engagement and enhance the university’s digital footprint.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Digital Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to promote university programs, events, and initiatives.
    • Identify target audiences and create tailored campaigns to maximize reach and engagement.
  2. Online Advertising:
    • Plan, manage, and optimize online advertising campaigns using platforms such as Google Ads and social media ads.
    • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
  3. Social Media Management:
    • Manage the university’s social media accounts, creating engaging content that aligns with our brand and mission.
    • Monitor audience engagement, respond to inquiries, and foster a vibrant online community.
  4. SEO & Website Optimization:
    • Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) to improve online visibility and search rankings.
    • Conduct keyword research and implement strategies to drive organic traffic to the university’s website.
  5. Performance Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze digital marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics and provide detailed reports on campaign effectiveness.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve results.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and SEO.
  • Skills:
    • Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
    • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media advertising platforms.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet tight deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
