We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Commercial Coordinator / Administrator to join our team in Victoria Island, Lagos. This role is pivotal in supporting the commercial team by managing contracts, financials, and client communications to ensure smooth business operations and revenue generation.
Job Summary:
The Commercial Coordinator / Administrator will act as the central point of contact for all commercial aspects of projects. This role involves reviewing and drafting contracts, managing invoices, tracking project costs, and coordinating communication between internal departments and clients. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management:
- Review and draft contracts with clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Track contract milestones, deadlines, and amendments, including change orders.
- Financial Management:
- Monitor project costs and budgets, identifying potential cost variances.
- Prepare and submit invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Track outstanding invoices and manage the debt collection process.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare financial reports for the commercial team, providing insights into project performance.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, invoices, and project financials.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Act as a central point of contact for all commercial aspects of projects.
- Coordinate communication between internal departments and clients to ensure smooth business transactions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience (4–10 years) in commercial coordination or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic legal and contractual terms.
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
