Job Description
- We are looking for an insightful, detail-oriented Analyst to work with our internal departments and management team as they collect and review data and use findings to optimize processes and develop stronger, more effective business strategies.
- An ideal candidate will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.
- To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.
- The Analyst will use creativity and technical skills to locate data sources, mine, visualize, interprete, forecast, validate, protect, and store data, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and use findings to develop strategies to reduce costs, improve processes and practices, and increase efficiency, quality, security, and consistency.
- The Analyst will also create reports and presentations and summarize complex information.
Daily Routines:
- Collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and other helpful
- Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
- Using data to develop and optimize strategies and processes, increase profits, efficiency, quality, or security, and reduce costs.
- Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
- Implementing policies and procedures that keep company data and information secure as it iscollected, analyzed, stored, and discarded.
- Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
- Reviewing and improving analytics processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency,
- accuracy, and security.
- Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
- Working with internal departments to collect data and develop and implement strategies.
- Identifying and validating new data sources.
- Creating reports and presentations to summarize findings and influence company decisions.
- Working with the management team to establish project objectives, budgets, and timelines, monitor progress, and evaluate performance.
Requirements
- B.Sc Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related fields. Certifications, or other distinctions related to data analysis are a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
- Strong math, organization, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
- Exceptional presentation, research, and verbal and written communication.
- Ability to summarize and explain complex information to other.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
- Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, Tableu, Jira, MS Office and other analytics software. Mastery of certain programming languages may be required.
- High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
- Ability to recognize patterns and trends in large data sets and use numerical information to
- develop business strategies.
