Job Summary:
Smartflow Technologies Limited is seeking a motivated and proactive Graduate Trainee – Human Resource to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, training, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a passion for human resource management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support: Assist with posting job openings, screening CVs, and coordinating interviews.
  • Onboarding: Ensure new employees are onboarded according to company standards.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee records on the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Training and Development: Support the HR team in coordinating employee training, development programs, and welfare initiatives.
  • Attendance Management: Record and update daily attendance, including sick leave, casual leave, and other absences, on the ERP system.
  • Health and Safety: Coordinate with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) coordinator to investigate incidents (near-misses and accidents).
  • Employee Engagement: Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and other HR-related events.
  • Administrative Support: Handle official correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and letters, and provide general administrative support to the HR department.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee complaints and inquiries or escalate issues to the appropriate personnel or units.

Requirements:

  • Education: B.Sc or HND in Human Resource, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of work experience.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Knowledge of occupational health and safety is an added advantage.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and resourceful thinking abilities.
  • Attributes:
    • Proactive with a strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
    • Smart, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
