Job Title: Ophthalmologist
Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
- Perform eye surgeries, including cataract removal, laser procedures, and corrective surgeries.
- Advise patients on eye care best practices and preventive measures.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as visual field assessments and retinal imaging.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses when necessary.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgeries.
- Manage eye conditions related to systemic diseases like diabetes or hypertension.
- Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmic treatments and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Medical Degree with a specialization in Ophthalmology
- License to practice from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) or relevant authority
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong surgical and diagnostic skills
