About the Excellence Fellowship
The Fellowship offers a generous grant ranging from CHF 10,000 to CHF 15,000 per year, covering the regular duration of the Master’s program (three to four semesters). The grant comes with no teaching obligations and is renewable based on academic performance during the first semester.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to students worldwide who demonstrate exceptional academic performance.
- Applicants must meet the admission criteria for their chosen Master’s program.
- Students already enrolled in a Master’s program at the Faculty of Science are ineligible.
Application Requirements
Candidates must submit a single PDF file (in English or French) containing:
- A scanned copy of your national ID or passport.
- A two-page CV.
- Official transcripts from your bachelor’s program.
- A motivation letter outlining your scientific interests and reasons for choosing the University of Geneva.
- Letters of reference from two professors (preferably sent directly to Excellence-Master-Sciences@unige.ch).
- Any additional documents, such as GRE or TOEFL scores.
Additionally, applicants must:
- Begin the online matriculation process and provide proof of registration.
- Complete the Fellowship application online.
