Job Description
- We are looking for a Client Service Officer to create and nurture long-term relationships with our clients. You will resolve any issues that arise to ensure clients are satisfied with our services.
- In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfill them.
- If you have a background in customer service and knowledge of our industry, we’d like to meet you.
- Your goal will be to help us safeguard our revenue and retain our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with a portfolio of clients to ensure satisfaction
- Create plans to address clients’ business needs
- Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products
- Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms
- Study competition to find new ways to retain customers
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. operations, sales, creative) to address customers’ needs
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Ensure services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Schedule regular meetings with clients to ensure they are satisfied
- Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Proven experience as a Client Service Officer/Key Account Manager/Client Relationship Officer
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- A customer-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work well with a team
- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Background in customer service; industry knowledge is a plus
- Experience tracking relevant KPIs (e.g. customer satisfaction)
- Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel), with working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 / Month.
