We are looking for a versatile Public relations / communications manager to increase the visibility of our firm on all digital platforms including website and social media.
We are an NGO founded in 2015 focused on street children empowerment through quality education.
MISSION
- To write and publish creative and engaging content and blog post on industry-related topics for VTS’ website and social media platforms.
- Create, distribute and send pitch emails, bulk emails and monthly newsletters to client.
- Public relations with industry professionals to incorporate their views in blog posts.
- Edit and proofread draft articles before publication.
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content, generate traffic and leads for VTS.
- Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement analytics.
- Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics for website publication.
- Work with our research and graphic design team to illustrate articles.
Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing content about our services.
Profile
- BSc in Marketing, Communications, Language/Literature, Law, Journalism or any relevant field.
- Must be creative, have good relations skills and tech savy.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English Language. Any added language is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a content creator, copywriter or similar role.
- Able to work independently and have a strong force of proposition.
- Hands-on experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress, MailChimp, Canva and Adobe Suite)
- Familiarity with SEO and other similar recent software.
- An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces.
- Time-management skills.
- Basic knowledge in creating legal content will be an added advantage.
