Job Title: Receivable Accountant

Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Accountant at Evans Industries Limited in Lagos.
- The Commercial Accountant will be responsible for financial statements, financial reporting, and management accounting tasks on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
- Prepare Management reports
- Establish and monitor the implementation of accounting control procedure.
- Develop and maintain financial databases.
- Liaise with external Auditor for annual audit and ensure completion in record time.
- Maintain inter-company account between the Company and other related Companies.
- General ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data.
- Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
- Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues
- Collect and analyse financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solution to business and financial problems.
- Account payable management
- Fixed asset Management
- Any other role as may be assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA
- Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Management Accounting skills
- Analytical Skills
- Finance knowledge
