Our client, an accredited and highly respected Maritime Solutions Provider, is seeking to fill the position of Entry level Business Development – Sales.
We are seeking to hire a seasoned Sales and Business Development Officer to focus on growing the client business. In this pivotal role, you’ll craft and execute winning sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of the industry. You’ll wear multiple hats – cultivating relationships with Marine Vessel owners, and government agencies, understanding their specific challenges, and positioning our solutions as the bridge to their success.

Job Description

  • Lead the charge: Develop and implement dynamic sales strategies and business development plans, driving growth and exceeding company objectives.
  • Forge powerful connections: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies, leveraging your networking prowess and strategic partnerships.
  • Become a revenue-generating force: Expand the customer base, secure lucrative deals, and consistently bring in new business.
  • Think beyond sales: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations, fostering sustainable growth opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Conduct market research, analyze trends, and provide valuable insights to refine our business strategy.
  • Data-driven decisions: Craft compelling sales reports, analyze performance metrics, and use data to optimize sales effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 0+ years of proven success in a sales and business development leadership role.
  • Must have completed the compulsory 1-year NYSC or have an exemption certificate.
  • A track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, a natural relationship builder.
  • Strategic thinking, proactive approach, and a results-driven mindset
