Compliance Lead – Onsite Job

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Compliance Lead

Location: Yaba- Fadeyi, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Compliance: Ensure all vehicle inventory on the platform complies with legal and operational guidelines.
  • Retail Compliance: Monitor sales transactions for adherence to company policies, customer protection laws, and fraud prevention measures.
  • Preventing Circumvention: Develop early-warning systems and processes to detect and prevent circumvention of protocols.
  • Audit & Reporting: Conduct regular audits and create systems for reporting compliance breaches and taking corrective actions.
  • Staff Training: Educate staff on compliance risks and foster a culture of integrity within the organization.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a compliance management role, preferably in retail or e-commerce sectors, with a strong understanding of automotive or tech-related industries.
  • Proven experience in inventory and retail compliance, risk management, and regulatory audits.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Compliance Regulations: In-depth knowledge of Nigerian laws governing retail and e-commerce, vehicle sales, data protection, and customer rights.
  • Audit & Monitoring: Strong background in conducting compliance audits, identifying risks, and implementing corrective measures.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to detect and prevent circumvention, with a focus on identifying risks before they escalate.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly explaining compliance standards and enforcement measures to internal teams.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail in data verification, report preparation, and policy enforcement.
  • Leadership & Team Collaboration: Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working closely with departments like sales, inventory, legal, and customer service.
