Key Responsibilities
As an EFT engineer, you will be responsible for providing second-level support to financial institutions who are using Interswitch solutions running from within their site. You will also be responsible for the following.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Work independently to collate and analyze data using pre-determined tools, methods, and formats.
- Data Management: Support and enable others to use and benefit from existing data management systems.
- Needs Assessment: Explore issues and/or needs to establish potential causes, related issues, and barriers.
- Recommendations: Provide advice on designing new processes and systems to achieve professional standards and desired outcomes.
- Solutions Analysis: Analyze specified problems and issues to find the best technical and/or professional solutions.
- Client & Customer Management (Internal): Help senior colleagues manage internal client and customer relationships by using sales/client systems and protocol
- Insights and Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
- A First Degree from a reputable institution
Technical Requirements for 0-2 years’ Experience:
- Programming Fundamentals (Python, Java)
- Basic SQL
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux
- Troubleshooting Skills
- Learning Agility
Technical Requirements For 3-5 Years’ Experience:
- Proven Experience in technical support/implementation (fintech/financial services preferred)
- Programming Proficiency (Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Advanced SQL
- Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Infrastructure Management
- Advanced Troubleshooting
- Tool & Technology Mastery (ticketing systems, monitoring tools).
